LUNA - One-of-a-Kind Moonstone & Diamond Ring

Small round moonstones are gathered together and complemented by diamonds to create this modern statement ring. 

Metal: 18-Karat White Gold 

Stones: Moonstones, 2.61 carat total weight (Sri Lanka origin) 

Accent Stones: Round brilliant diamonds, 0.32 carat total weight

Note from the designer: The blue sheen of moonstones that moves as you tilt the stones is simply hypnotizing. This phenomenon called "adularescence" is caused by light falling between the stone's microscopic layers and scattering. I initially bought these moonstones to make a halo around another gemstone but the stones being so small, it wasn't fully showcasing the blue sheen effect. That's when I decided to bring them all together instead, creating a moonstone cluster.
